Only, not so gracefully. I was leaving the library today with Nella and totally biffed it. Luckily, my (new) phone only got a few little scratches on it. Not bad for being in my hand when I fell. Lol. That was my exciting adventure for the day. Haha.
So, thought I'd review my weekend for all of you out there.
Friday: Went to my aunt's house to help her clear all her ex-boyfriend's shit out of her house. Played baseball with her and my cousins first. Went to go catch the ball and slipped in some wet, muddy grass. Got mud on my sleeves, butt of my sweat shirt and on my ass. It was pretty awesome. Lol. Had to lug a medium sized, very heavy vanity cabinet out of her second story bathroom down the stairs. Needless to say, my thighs hurt the next morning. Also helped doctor a very beaten up cat. My aunt and I came to the conclusion that the cat (Mr. Chow) was attacked by a dog. Slept over at my aunt's house in my cousin's bed. It was super comfy. Lol.
Saturday: Woke up to my aunt telling me that her car had died. What we thought to be a dead battery turned out to be the starter. Her British friend Limey came over and tinkered and fixed it for her. Meanwhile, my aunt took Mr. Chow to the vet to get him some help. About an hour and a half later, she came back empty handed. They had had to put Mr. Chow down. The damage that was made to his head was too severe to help. The skin on the top of his head had already proceeded to die, and his ear was almost completely ripped off his head. We both cried for him. I so wanted him to make it. That poor thing went through so much. All he wanted was to be loved. Even at the end. After that, we finished clearing her ex's stuff out of the house and garage. She took me home, I got a new phone, saw my sister and niece for all of ten minutes and did my homework.
Sunday: Got a text from my aunt saying that my second cousin had suggested they take me out for Indian food. I thought that was just soo precious. He's this shy, typical Indian boy and he had the thought to invite me to lunch. He's just so nice. :) So I walked over to her house after I got ready, only to find out that her starter had faltered. Again. So instead of going out for lunch, she called Limey again, they got her a new starter, he installed it, and I ate a Hawaiian teriyaki bowl. Lol. Did some laundry and went home.
It was such a weird weekend. Full of pretty much everything you could have go wrong when you're expecting a fun weekend. Lol. But, I at least got to spend the weekend with my aunt. :)
Now I'm sitting on my bed listening to music, currently Billy Joel's Lullaby (Goodnight, my angel) and waiting to see if I'll be hanging with Nella and her friend. Now you're caught up. Lol.
Chat at you all later.
